I wonder if the girl taking the plushie wasn’t for no reason…maybe it was their way of showing us the “connections” that our community members will make in this new game! I remember you talking about this and hoping it will provide more feeling in the game and I think that’s what they were trying to show there with the plushie being taken to remember her fallen friend so to speak! 🤷‍♂️ just a thought.

Ranged zombies, the one thing no one needs in zombie games... I bet this will not be a popular addition, moders better than myself will remove it real quick.

I feel like they focus to much on hope in games now and forget about the brutality of the worlds they are portraying, I hope we get some that in there this time

I wanted the MMO. I hope I can create my character. The community stuff is cool for solo players but I want it to ACTUALLY FEEL like a community. With real people. I want the game good and rushed. Companies have been able to do that before. Crunch is good when you have proper accountability and xbox has none. I'm expecting the game to flop because of xbox.

what i really want in SoD3 is the same thing that I have wanted in the previous games, an atmospheric, hardcore and brutal struggle to survive while playing coop seamlessly with my brother or a friend. SoD2 Juggy update vastly improved the game and I was very happy with what they did but their coop was still severely lacking. not being able to share my community with my coop partner was irritating, he constantly has to disconnect to switch characters and then reconnect again. i want to be able to kind of roleplay as if its just the 2 of us trying our best to survive against incredible odds and not be interrupted by having to deal with linking up a coop game over and over. Satisfactory's coop mode actually comes to mind. I think that would be great actually. Also, allow players to create their own characters and survive in a game thats sandbox style or procedurally generated. And give them a bunch of different modifiers to ramp the difficulty and maybe change the "win state" of the game.

id like to see romance options for characters romancing each other, and having children and marriage. also i wana see various hunting options in the game.

id like to see much bigger maps, and more maps. id like to see an option for more survival and crafting mechanics. ie chopping down trees, leave the stumps n they regrow next season, raising chickens, pigs, farming oats, wells, id like to see horses and horse riding. i wana see way more buildings options, if you combined this game with medieval dynasty youd have the perfect zombie survival game.

There is a system limit of 40 zombies around you at all times and when there is none around you and you fumble a quick search they fucking appear even though in reality they’d not 🤷🏼‍♂️ sort that fucking issue out please ! Game or not we don’t want it! Searches house all clear searches cupboard bang 5 break in and one cunt infects you 🙄🙄🙄🤦‍♂️🙄🤦‍♂️

Things I’d love to see in SoD3: More dynamic dialogue between characters - After beating the game a few times, you know what they’re going to say before they even say it. More dynamic personal quest lines - it’s like everybody in the apocalypse has an prepper aunt with jeep and a high capacity .22 Larger communities / city building - Recruiting non playable characters to preform background tasks could liven up base a bit, with the treatment of these characters dependent on the leadership style (builder, trader, sheriff, warlord) Random human NPC encounters - Friendly, neutral, or hostile random encounters would give a lot of life and tension to the world, if they’re different enough to not all feel the same. Following the sound of gunshots and finding someone fighting off a horde from the roof of a car like in the trailer or two groups fighting it out would be really cool, but should still be a rare RNG roll. Another story mode like Trumbull Valley had!! - They did a great job with this, I’d like to see it again Kill off Lilly Ritter - I find her voice to be very annoying and too upbeat for the State of Decay universe Pin this comment so the devs can see!!

I just want people to feel as heavy as they did in Days Gone, these survivors in SOD1/2 feel like paperweights.

Hey man you are so went into the silent we need something anything about SODs 😮 it's been almost 2 weeks, also since they listening to you, would you like to ask them where is the repetitive crossbow in sod 3, I finished sod 2 on lethal without firing a single bullet, only my community members were firing bullets to defend the base, but me with the help of that repetitive crossbow finished the game on lethal several times, so it's necessary that State Of Decay 3 not getting any downgrade by not creating repetitive crossbow, so you as our representative should dig it out, I know if you dig there's nothing you can't find, so I'm asking you please help a gamer out, thank you

The thing that has always bothered me about this game (which gets even more irritating in general) is not so much the spawning of general zombies, but the spawning of freak zombies and freak hordes specifically. Like, I can open my save file and do LITERALLY NOTHING, and within two minutes there will be no less than three hordes, two screamers, a feral, three bloaters, and at least one juggernaut within the freak detection of my base. I can go to an area, feel confident that I drew the attention of any zeds in the area, take two steps towards a nearby building to loot, and suddenly a feral horde spawns like 5 feet to me left and is on top of me almost before I even know they're there. And, of course, the infamous road bloaters. So yeah, hopefully if they're working on zombie spawning, they're also working on frequency/range of freak zed spawning.

I think the updated things done are perfect and gives room for improvement for sod4 I play often with other people and everyone Ive talked to has ask for the same thing. We all can't be happy n that's not the point but the improvements are fantastic and I can't wait to buy it so I can own the best version of the walking dead.

How's about we make a city or even put trumble valley on a map. Like near a city so eventually we will end up in the city. Also better ways to kill zombies like pointing guns through the windows when you are surrounded.

I hope they allow us to name our characters. (Change our characters names). I know that may seem simple but I play a whole community as my family and how we would do it. I do it different ways each time. It would be nice to have the names match my family or just what I want them to be.

I honestly hoped for a more gritty state of decay. Seems like they are sticking to the glowing eyes goofy look.

😂 i never lost a character in State of Decay that wasnt to a game breaking glitch. For example pop in bloaters, invisible bloaters, getting stuck in a window or on a book or random clutter (had to immediately force close the game or die multiple times to that bs) juggernaut phantom range stagger & hit combos, stealth ferals 😒 like seriously no sound not even the pitter patter of they feeties or huffing & puffing u just minding your business then TACKLED & mauled often at horrible times or locations. So technically ive never be killed in all the yrs playing it outside of things that would force me to die like many of the glitches above that i experienced.

SOD3 Wishlist 1. Dynamic Weather 2. Actual Scope View, not just a crosshair that gets smaller! 3. Base building, having zombies just break open a gate/door is LAME (you mean to tell me a group of survivors couldn't reinforce a gated house/building? 4. Better AI NPC's (good/bad/neutral) that actually are wandering around the map doing what they normally would independent of what the player is doing, unless the player actually interacts with them or they have ill intentions and detect the player. 5. Larger maps 6. City maps similar to SOD1 7. A Skill tree system rather than the SOD2 stat/star system. Be able to be good at a variety of things, rather than locked into one style of fighting/shooting.

NGL, I would love to see wildlife that are infected, and are not infected. This would show us that the virus has evolved to infect others, and I would love to see how Undead Labs can expand on the lore of how the virus escaped into the world. My guess, is that it was some kind of military experiment gone wrong, but that's just my opinion. Edit: Overall I'm excited to see what SOD 3 has to offer. :D

Will be working together rebuild societies and survive as a community be great we all can build highly fortified forts and make it add upgrades to not just vehicles but adding army tanks planes and upgrade to laser rifles and other high tech weapons etc.

I hope they dont have houses that have a super computer that looks like a cupboard which is where you put mods. it took me years to figure that out. it made no sense at all. none of it did. upgrading a base was better in the first game as in just looked a little different and was just an option and not buried in mountains of menus. the whole storage and base system was horrible in 2 and why i didnt play the bases and just had a wander round occaisionally. the constant radio messages where annoying as hell. i'm not optimistic 3 will be any good. The devs do a lot of talking but when it comes to showing what theyve done they show this fake trailer as admitted by them. They should simplify and get back to what the core game in one was with a slither of an overall goal with linking missions and make looting mean something rather than just sacks. What am i father xmas in zombieville? Stop putting tons of features in that no-one asked for and complicating the game further ie fighting moves, crazy weapons and intricate processes for creating and using supplies. it was all nonsense to cover up for banal gameplay. 1 had so much potential but they leaned into the bases part way too much and ruined it. Sad, i expect 3 to be exactly the same.

Call me a hater but state of decay 2 was a downgrade from 1 so i cant see 3 being any better... most of the things i expected from 2 didnt happen or were poorly implemented and features i liked from 1 were ruined in 2 making the game feel more like a arcade shooter than a zombie survival game.

This trailer could as well be a ad for SoD2. Nothing new beyond character skins. And lets be real. SoD2 is sandbox version of SoD1 with improved engine. I honestly do not expect much as of now.

I want to see more dynamic events. If you're out looting you should randomly run into groups that may or may not be hostile. Maybe you can follow them back to a base, maybe they're friendly and it opens up dialogue for a benefit to gain or them to join. Maybe they attack immediately. Would make looting more nervous having that element and different ways it could go. Also more bases, even if smaller ones just something diverse.

The container base is THE best in the game imo. Sure, it is on the bottom of the map so driving is needed but I like driving around, it adds to this immersive survival-like feeling. It has every single outpost type around it including electricity, water and silo. It is the esiest base to defend and it has 3 parking slots surrounded by walls so it can be blocked by cars and make a car defensive wall and it can carry up 10 people. What else you could want from a late game base really.
